Yonghegong Lama Temple is situated in the north-eastern part of
Beijing. It consists of 5 halls separated by yards. The main hall is the
Hall of Harmony and Peace.
The temple is situated just within a stone's throw from a subway station.

Persimmon grows everywhere.

There is a 26-meter-high Buddha statue in the temple, which is registered in Guinness Book of Records.
