Another Side of the Bahamas

We all got used to the opinion that the Bahamas is a paradise. But what if we show you another side of this place? Not numerous sights of Cat Island and some photos of the Bahamas capital - Nassau, are below.

It should be noticed that here are a lot of abandoned houses and cars. You may even come and live in any abandoned house you like... The strong feeling of desolation doesn't correspond with the stereotype most of people have about the Bahamas.

Sickly crabs on the road.

An ordinary picture - abandoned equipment and deforestation.

But sometimes devastation becomes picturesque...

Ruins of planters' houses, big pink shells inside.

Among the historic monuments the special place is given to a Catholic church of St. Savior built in the 19th century on the highest peak of Bahama Islands - 62m above sea level.
