We are back to wonderful Santorini! And how could we never return?
Santorini - once a living volcano, dusting into the atmosphere,
erupting boiling lava in the waters of the Aegean Sea. The volcano was
high and it seemed that some demons were throwing into its crater more
and more firewood, the local population was pretty much bothered by it.
Approximately 3500 years ago there happened a cataclysm that hit the
volcano as well. The area suffered from a huge earthquake and caldera of
the volcano sank in the waters of the Mediterranean. Over the sea level
only a part of the volcano throat edge has remained and as soon as the
earthly stove cooled down the Greek loved Santorini. Since then its
citizens have been building their snow-white houses and shone the
streets of the city. Don't know who the main designer was but the
installation he made is so plesant to a human eye, that you forget all
fuss and languor.
Santorini is the very place where a tourist may collect all possible
positive emotions. Here you understand what escaping beauty means: when,
standing in one place, and enjoying one view, you suddenly notice
another view that is even more beautiful and you move there to stand and
adore again and again... In one of such moments you realize that all
the views around are like taken from postcards, decorations as if
specially made, stage effects are everywhere.
