Sand Dune Invading France



The Dune of Pilat is the biggest dune on the territory of Europe located in La Teste-de-Buch commune in the bay of Arcaishon. The volume of the dune is 60 000 000 m³, width — 500 m, height — 130 m, length – 3 km! The dune doesn't stop to move deeper into the country slowly covering buildings and roads.
