Khajuraho: Temples Of Love

The second most visited place in India after Taj Mahal is a small town Khajuraho famous for its 9-11 centuries temples. At that time 85 temples were built of which only 25 have remained till today.

The temples were continuously destroyed by Muslims because of the spicy sculptures. One may see that even animals openly make love here.

Marvellous combination of architecture and sculpture.

The name of the town comes from the word "date palm" which once surrounded the temples.

Evening over the temple.

Nature wakes up from the fog.
