Bhutan: The Himalayan Kingdom part1

Bhutan is a small beautiful country in South Asia located at the eastern end of the Himalayas. Let's make a tour over it, have a look at its famous sightseeings and learn how the Bhutanese live.

Let's begin with the Bhutanese pass which is 3100 m in height. It has a marvellous view on the snow tops of the Himalayas and white clouds stuck somewhere downwards in the valley.

A roadside market is on the way to the pass.

And a bunch of Buddhist stupas is located on its very top.

One can see 7 km peaks from here.

These special pots are filled with fir twigs which are burned and then the smoke starts belching from them.

A couple of landscapes.

A market at Wangdue Phodrang town.

Its streets.

Some roofs are not fastened to the house. To prevent them from flying away, some heavy stones are put on it.

A local pub.

The shop of electronics.

People still listen to the tapes here.
