Mysterious and Conciliative Yonghegong Lama Temple

Yonghegong Lama Temple is situated in the north-eastern part of Beijing. It consists of 5 halls separated by yards. The main hall is the Hall of Harmony and Peace.

The temple is situated just within a stone's throw from a subway station.

The main entrance. Together with a ticket every tourist is given a CD with a short video film.

Mass incense burning.

Persimmon grows everywhere.

And pomegranate too.

...and saints.

There is a 26-meter-high Buddha statue in the temple, which is registered in Guinness Book of Records.
